This policy is intended to be read by parents of children at Tame Valley Primary Academy. Uniform is compulsory at Tame Valley Primary Academy and we are proud of our uniform. We believe that wearing uniform promotes a sense of belonging and unity. Wearing the uniform helps to maintain our calm school approach, whilst reinforcing our school value of Responsibility.
Our uniform is red in colour and we expect all children to wear it.
Jewellery is not allowed (except for stud earrings) and children will be asked to remove unsuitable jewellery. Tattoo’s (temporary or permanent) and extreme hair styles are not allowed. High-heeled shoes should not be worn to school for safety reasons. Please ensure your child’s belongings are labelled clearly with their name and class. Please do not allow your child to bring expensive items to school, as we cannot be responsible for these.
