As a Healthy School we encourage healthy eating and work alongside the School Nurse team inn relation to any allergies or intolerances. All colleagues are trained on anaphylaxis and allergies and school have a spare autoinjector Epipen on site.
If your child(ren) have a diagnosed food allergy or intolerance, or is diagnosed with one whilst attending Tame Valley, please ensure that this is disclosed to school so that we can make appropriate arrangements to support your child(ren) contact the school office on 0121 464 4497 or enquiries@tva.greenheartlearning.org and ask to speak with Miss Brown.
Our menus have been updated for 2025-2026 to include even more choice for the children. There are halal and vegetarian choices every day.
Children are able to choose their lunch every morning when they arrive in school.
Children are also able to choose whether to have a school meal or bring a packed lunch on a daily basis.
